Privacy Policy

Lashes Boudoir is a lash, brow, waxing and facial salon with three salons: Ploenchit and Asoke in Bangkok, and Jomtien in Pattaya. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Lashes Boudoir, which is responsible for your personal data.

This policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal data when you visit lashesboudoir.com, book a treatment or contact us, in line with Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019), the “PDPA”.

• Booking details. When you book through Fresha: your name, phone number, email, the treatment, salon, date and time you choose, and any notes you add.
• Contact form. Your name, email, the salon you are interested in and your message.
• Messages and calls. When you message us on LINE or WhatsApp, or call us: your name or profile name, phone number and what you share with us.
• Health and allergy information. If you tell us about allergies, sensitivities or medical conditions. This is sensitive personal data, so we ask for it only to keep you safe and use it only for your care, with your explicit consent.
• Payments. You pay at the salon. Card and digital payments are handled by our payment providers, or by Fresha where used. We do not keep your full card details.
• Website use. Your device and browser type, IP address, the pages you visit and how you use the site, collected through cookies (see Cookies below).
• Photos. Only with your consent (see Photos below).

We use your personal data only for clear reasons, each with a legal basis under the PDPA:

• To arrange and give your treatments, including bookings, reminders and changes. Basis: to fulfil our agreement with you.
• To keep you safe, using any health or allergy information you share. Basis: your explicit consent.
• To answer your messages and questions. Basis: to fulfil our agreement with you, or our legitimate interest in helping you.
• To run our salons, including client records and accounts. Basis: our legal obligations and legitimate interests.
• To understand and improve our website and our advertising, through analytics and advertising cookies. Basis: your consent.
• To send you news, only if you have agreed to receive it. You can stop at any time. Basis: your consent.

We share only what is needed, with trusted services that help us run Lashes Boudoir:

• Fresha, for online booking, reminders and, where used, payments.
• Squarespace, which hosts our website and contact form.
• Google, for website analytics (Google Analytics) and advertising measurement (Google Ads, through Google Tag Manager).
• Meta, for advertising measurement on Facebook and Instagram (Meta Pixel), and for WhatsApp messages.
• LINE, when you message us there.
• Authorities or professional advisers, only where the law requires it.

We never sell your personal data.

Some of these services store data outside Thailand. When this happens, we rely on the safeguards these providers put in place for international transfers, as the PDPA requires.

Our website links to other services, such as Fresha, LINE and WhatsApp. Their own privacy policies apply when you use them.

We love to share our work, but only ever with your permission. We take before-and-after or other photos of you only if you agree, and share them on our website or social media only with your consent.

You can withdraw your consent at any time, and we will stop using the photo and remove it from our own channels where we can.

We keep personal data only as long as needed for your care, our records and legal requirements. When it is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.

Health and allergy notes stay with your client record so we can care for you safely at future visits, unless you ask us to remove them.

Only team members who need your information to look after you can see it. We use trusted, secure services for bookings, messages and our website, and we take care to protect your data from loss, misuse or unauthorised access.

If a data breach is likely to affect you, we will inform the authorities and, where required, you, as the PDPA sets out.

Cookies are small files that help a website work and remember your choices. Our website uses:

• Essential cookies, set by Squarespace so the site works securely.
• Analytics cookies, from Squarespace and Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use the site.
• Advertising cookies, from Google Ads and the Meta Pixel, to measure how our ads perform and show them to people who may be interested.

Analytics and advertising cookies are optional. When you first visit, our cookie banner lets you accept them, or choose which to allow through “Manage cookies”. You can change your choice at any time through “Cookie Preferences” on the website.

Under the PDPA, you have the right to:

• ask for a copy of your personal data, and how we obtained it;
• ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate or incomplete;
• ask us to delete it or make it anonymous;
• ask us to restrict, or object to, how we use it;
• receive it in a commonly used format, or have it sent to another organisation;
• withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect how we used it before);
• make a complaint to Thailand’s Office of the Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC).

To use any of these rights, email us at lashesboudoir.bkk@gmail.com or message us on LINE. We will reply within 30 days. We may first need to confirm your identity, and occasionally the law may require us to keep some information.

If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you may also have similar rights under the GDPR.

Our website is not intended for children. If you are under 20, please ask a parent or guardian to book with you, as their consent is needed for us to use your personal data under Thai law.

We may update this policy when our practices or the law change. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
