The Korean lash lift
A root-focused lift for a clean, defined result that makes the most of your natural length.
The Korean lash lift is a lash lift with a different focus. Instead of shaping a curl along the lash, it concentrates the lift at the root, where each lash leaves the lid. Your lashes rise cleanly from their base, so more of their natural length is on show and your eyes look more open, with no lash curler and no added lashes.

A classic technique that creates a smooth, defined curl for beautifully lifted lashes. A lovely choice for lashes with some length.
Korean lash lift
A root-focused technique that creates a clean, defined lift and enhances the visible length of your natural lashes. Ideal for short, thick, downward-growing or resistant lashes.

- Short lashes have little length to curl. Lifting them from the root shows all of the length they have.
- Downward-growing lashes
- Lashes that point down or straight out need their direction changed at the base, which is where the Korean lift works.

What is an eyelash lift?
A lash lift curls your own natural lashes upwards from the root, so they look longer and your eyes look more open. No lashes are added. It is often paired with a lash tint, which darkens the lashes for a mascara-like effect without make-up.
Brows can be treated in the same gentle way: lamination lifts and sets the hairs, and a dye adds colour and definition. Here is how a lift compares with lash extensions.

How a lash lift works
A lash lift gently reshapes each natural lash. Here is what happens, step by step.
A natural lash holds its shape through bonds inside the hair. A lift softens those bonds, lets the lash take a new, lifted shape, and then sets it there. Nothing is added to your lashes, and nothing is cut: it is your own lashes, shaped.
- 1. Cleanse
- Your lashes are cleansed so there is no oil or make-up on them, which lets each lotion work evenly.
- 2. The shield
- A soft silicone shield is placed on the lid, close to the lash line. Shields come in sizes, from small to extra large. As general guidance, a smaller shield gives a stronger curl and a larger shield a softer, longer-looking lift; your technician chooses the size for your lash length and the look you want.
- 3. Placing the lashes
- Each lash is brushed upwards onto the shield and held with a gentle, water-soluble balm, kept straight and apart from its neighbours. This placement decides how even the result will be.
- 4. Lifting lotion
- The first lotion softens the bonds inside the lash so it can take its new shape. The timing is tailored to your lashes: fine lashes need less, strong or coarse lashes a little more.
- 5. Setting lotion
- The second lotion sets the lash in its new, lifted shape.
- 6. Tint (optional)
- If you are adding a tint, it is applied now, while the lashes are lifted.
- 7. Nourish
- Elleebana’s nourishing step, with Regen and Powerbond technology, conditions and strengthens the lashes before they are released.
- 8. Reveal
- The lashes are released from the shield, cleansed and brushed into place.
A classic lift takes about 1 hour, and about 1.5 hours with a tint. You lie back with your eyes closed throughout, in a quiet, private room.

Those choices are the difference between a soft, even lift and a curl that looks crimped or uneven. That is why we look closely at your natural lashes first, every time.
Lash tint, brow dye and bleach
Colour is the quiet half of lifting and tinting. It changes how defined your lashes and brows look, without changing their shape.
Lash tint
A lash tint deepens the colour of your lashes from root to tip. Fine, fair tips that are almost invisible become visible, so lashes look longer and fuller. With a lift it gives a mascara-like effect; on its own it is a simple way to skip mascara. Choose upper lashes, lower lashes or both, about 30 minutes and ฿500 each. A lash tint lasts 4–6 weeks, fading gently as the colour wears and your lashes renew.
Brow dye
Our brow dye is a Bronsun hybrid formula. It colours the brow hairs richly and leaves a soft, temporary stain on the skin beneath, which fills sparse areas and gives a defined, make-up-like finish. The skin stain fades after 7–10 days; the colour on the hairs lasts up to 6 weeks.
Your technician chooses the shade with you, so the colour suits your hair, your skin and the look you want.
Brow bleach
Bleach works the other way: it lightens the natural brow hairs to soften the overall look and create a lighter, more balanced brow. It is ideal for very dark or strong brow hairs, or to prepare the brows for a customised colour with dye (bleach ฿800; bleach + dye ฿1,400).
Lash tint and brow dye colour the hair; they do not make brows grow or add hairs. For more shape and fullness, they pair beautifully with brow lamination.
Brow lamination, explained
Brow lamination is a lift for your brows: the same gentle idea, adapted to brow hairs.
Brow hairs often grow in different directions, which can leave gaps or an uneven line. Lamination softens the hairs, brushes them upwards and into shape, and sets them there, so the brows look fuller, more even and neatly styled, without daily brow gel.

- A first lotion softens the brow hairs so they can be moved.

- The hairs are brushed upwards and into the shape designed for your face.
- Set
- A second lotion sets them in place.
- Nourish and finish
- A nourishing step conditions the hairs, then the brows are shaped with waxing, tweezing and trimming. A dye can be added for colour.
We use Bronsun for brow lamination. Brow lamination with shaping takes about 1 hour (฿1,600); with dye about 1.5 hours (฿2,000). It lasts 6–8 weeks, depending on your natural growth cycle.
Who it suits
Lamination is lovely for stubborn or unruly brows, brows that grow downwards or in different directions, and brows that look uneven from one side to the other. As general guidance, it suits brows with some length to the hairs; very short or very sparse brows have less to shape, and your technician may suggest dye or shaping instead.

Before you come

Your consultation
Every appointment begins with a conversation. Your technician looks at your natural lashes and brows, asks about your routine and the look you love, and recommends a curl, colour or brow shape.
Your lash lift
You lie back comfortably in a quiet, private room with your eyes closed. Your lashes are gently curled upwards from the root and set with the Elleebana system. A lift takes about 1 hour.
Adding a tint
A tint deepens the colour of your lashes for a mascara-like effect. A lift and tint together take about 1.5 hours; a tint on its own about 30 minutes.
Your brows
For lamination, the brow hairs are softened, brushed upwards into shape and set, then tidied with waxing, tweezing and trimming. Bronsun dye can be added for colour and definition.
The reveal and your aftercare
When you are happy with the result in the mirror, your technician shares simple aftercare tips and suggests when to come back.
Patch tests and sensitive eyes
Your comfort comes first. Tell us about your eyes and skin, and we will take it from there.
Sensitive eyes or skin
If you have sensitive eyes or skin, allergies, or have reacted to a lash or brow product before, please tell us when you book and again at your consultation. We are happy to patch-test on request, and always if you have allergies.

Elleebana’s lash lift is formaldehyde-free and Bronsun’s tints are ammonia-free: professional products we chose because they are kind to lashes and brows.
During your appointment
If anything feels uncomfortable, simply say so and your technician will pause. Keeping your eyes gently closed helps everything stay comfortable.
Afterwards
If you notice redness, itching or swelling after your appointment, contact the salon, and please seek advice from a pharmacist or doctor.

Is a lift or tint right for you today?
A few situations where it is kinder to wait, or to talk to us first. These are general guidance, not a diagnosis.
- Red, irritated or sore eyes
- If your eyes are red, itchy, watery or you have an eye infection, it is kinder to wait until they have fully settled.
- Recent eye surgery or treatment
- Let us know if you have had eye surgery or an eye treatment recently, and follow the advice of the person who treated you.
- A reaction before
- If you have reacted to a tint, hair dye or lash product before, tell us when you book. We are happy to patch-test on request, and always if you have allergies.
- Sensitive or irritated skin
- If the skin around your eyes or brows is sensitive, broken or irritated, or you use strong skincare such as retinoids near your brows, mention it at your consultation.
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding
- Please let us know, so we can talk it through with you at your consultation.
- Lash extensions
- A lift is done on natural lashes, so any extensions need to be removed first. We can remove them for you.
- A recent lift
- Your lashes need time between lifts. As general guidance, wait until your previous lift has grown out.

Aftercare and how long it lasts
Lifting and tinting need very little care. A few simple habits keep your results looking fresh.
Lashes: the first 24 hours
Keep your lashes dry. As general guidance, also avoid steam, saunas, mascara and rubbing your eyes, and try not to sleep face-down.
Lashes: after that
Carry on with your normal routine. We recommend a lash serum to keep your lashes nourished and healthy.
Brows: the first 24 hours
As general guidance, keep laminated or dyed brows dry, with no make-up or skincare on them, and avoid steam, saunas and heavy exercise.
Brows: every day
Brush laminated brows into shape with a clean spoolie, and avoid scrubbing or exfoliating the brow area so the colour lasts longer. Your technician shares aftercare for your brow treatment before you leave.
